Les missions du poste
MV Digital is recruiting a Quantitative Developer for a leading global systematic investment firm. This role is based in Houston, supporting the commodities trading desk at the intersection of quantitative research, software development, and trading infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design and develop quantitative tools in Python to support research and trading
- Build and maintain robust ETL pipelines and cloud-native applications (AWS)
- Implement and test statistical and machine learning models
- Perform data analysis, feature engineering, and strategy backtesting
- Maintain and optimize trading infrastructure and data flow systems
- Collaborate with quant researchers and traders to translate ideas into production-ready tools
Le profil recherché
- 5+ years of experience in front-office quantitative development
- Strong Python development skills (NumPy, pandas, matplotlib)
- Solid knowledge of SQL, Git, and version control best practices
- Proven financial and quantitative mindset
- Experience with AWS and infrastructure-as-code tools
- Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented, structured, and team player
Nice to Have :
- Prior exposure to commodities or energy trading
- Experience with AWS advanced tools (Lambda, CDK), NoSQL databases, or distributed computing frameworks
- Interest in working in a collaborative environment with strong work-life balance values
