The Software Engineer (Full Stack) Role
Join us at Qlik as a Full Stack Engineer and become a driving force in the backend & frontend development of Generative AI Assistants, AI Chat / Search functionality and Agents.
As aFull Stack Software Engineer at Qlik, your responsibilities will includeparticipating intechnical designs, coding, testing, and test related scripting and validation.

- BE a key player in developing features and functionality for AI Assistants & Agents that will directly influence the future of interacting with data using Natural Language at Qlik.
- Implement product features and ensure quality is to up the highest standards that will make our customers successful in using Generative AI products on the Qlik platform.
- Collaborate Across Teams : Work with a diverse team of software engineers, and domain experts to create user-friendly solutions that address complex challenges.
- Exciting Projects : Dive into exciting projects, using the latest technologies.
- Participate the drive development in our Agentic system / Natural language driven Assistants and features on the Qlik Platform.
Here's how you'll BE making an impact :
- Develop backend code for new features.
- Build innovative User Interfaces using modern client technologies.
- Ensure code is high quality, and work on associated testing scripts and automation.
- Prepare development plans for major feature deliveries.
- Coordinate and collaborate with other front end/back-end developers on features.
- Participate in PR reviews, learn the existing code base and keep up to date with new technologies.
- Have end-to-end ownership of our features - you will BE involved in design, development, testing and deploying to production cloud.
We're looking for a teammate with :
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in Software Development.
- Experience with React, Typescript / JavaScript, HTML, CSS and Python.
- Some level of proficiency with Golang or the desire to learn.
- Knowledgeable in containerization and orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes) and Cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Basic knowledge of LLM's, and some experience using LLM's either via Prompting or APIs.
- Interest in working in Generative AI and Agents and NLP.
- Ability to work gracefully and have a bias for action in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience working with and knowledge in SQL, or NoSQL databases.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work well in a team.

The anticipated base salary range for this role is $115,000 - $130,000 USD per year. Final compensation offered by Qlik will BE based on factors such as the candidate's location, job-related skills, education, experience, and other business and organizational needs. Qlik offers a comprehensive benefits package, eligibility requirements for benefits will BE controlled by applicable Qlik plan documents and policies.
