Our growth is driving us to strengthen our Network Reliability Engineer team to support the expansion of our backbone and data center network infrastructure. Your mission will BE to maintain, scale, and improve Scaleway's network reliability in order to support our product growth, new availability zones, and high-level performance expectations.
YOUR FUTURE TEAM

You will BE part of a team of 13 people responsible for building and maintaining the network infrastructure, working in one of two roles within the team :- Network Reliability Engineer - Network Automation DEVOPS
The team is distributed between Paris, Toulouse, and remote locations. Together, they ensure the reliability, performance, and scalability of a complex infrastructure spanning several countries and tens of thousands of devices. You'll frequently collaborate with teams across the company, including Product, Hardware, and Tech DCs.
YOUR DAILY ROUTINE
- TasksMaintain and grow our data center and backbone network infrastructure (deployments, upgrades, migrations, peering sessions, etc.)- Troubleshoot and resolve network incidents- Contribute to the automation of network deployments and operations- Collaborate with other teams to plan and execute network deployments- Write and maintain technical documentation- Continuously monitor and improve network reliability and performance- Use tools like Netbox, LibreNMS, RANCID, and Netshot for network inventory and monitoring- Use and develop internal APIs and scripts (primarily in Python)- Participate in the team's continuous learning culture- Ensure configuration consistency and standardization across the network
ABOUT YOU :
HARDSKILLS
Strong understanding of routing protocols : BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, MPLS, VXLAN, EVPN, layer-2/3 protocolsExperience with network automation (Ansible, Python). You have hands-on experience with at least one of the major network vendors' products : Cisco, Juniper, Nokia, Huawei with Netbox, LibreNMS, RANCID, Netshot, or similar toolsGood knowledge of Linux systems and REST APIsFluent in EnglishYou are familiar with modern collaboration tools : Jira, Gitlab etc.
