Position : Major Tasks - Member of the Cardiorenal Nucleus. Participate to the elaboration and the activation of the Cardiorenal Nucleus - Kerendia (Finerenone) strategy.
- Provide legal perspectives on all strategies and operational aspects of Cardiorenal Nucleus, Medical Affairs Department/R&D; Pharmaceutical activities (including Radiology medical activities), Advocacy, Market Access, Communication, Regulatory Affairs, Events, Woman Health, Marketing and Commercial ExcellenceDepartment, GIDC businesses, including contracts, competition law, pharmaceutical law, cosmetics law and food law. Take appropriate actions and steps to mitigate identified risks.
- Act as a Business Legal Partner for Divisions. Understand business needs and BE engaged with the key stakeholders and ensure the LPC Department continues to BE seen as a valuable business partner meeting their needs and supporting the company's strategic goals and growth plans.
- Draft, negotiate and execute appropriately in complete autonomy contracts with third parties.
- Manage legal matters and advises on legal strategies in a complex environment : 1. Multi-divisional environment (Pharma, GIDC) 2. Multi-regulatory environment (Drugs, medical devices, cosmetics, food) - Ensure compliance awareness by engaging people to commit toward compliance - with all applicable laws, policies and regulations - on a daily basis including ensuring that HCPs, HCOs and Patient Organization activities are in line with local regulations, local codes. Developing and performing specific trainings on subjects of interest for the business (new regulations, risks concerning a given activity, etc.).
- Participate actively to the implementation in France on the strategic Global projects (R&D;, new business model) - Protect and increase the present and future value of the Company's assets, rights, image and reputation including handling, in coordination with the BHC LPC Head, all litigation cases and propose and prepare legal action(s) and case(s) in order to defend assets of the company in pharmaceutical fields with the support of external legal counsels.
- Represent autonomously the company in case of control of the Authorities (ANSM, DGCCRF) for the field and divisions advised. Value added of the position :
- Contribute to the set up of Cardio Renal Nucleus strategy.
- Advise on a strategy for a successfulproduct launch.
- Prevent Bayer from prosecution, fines and loss of reputation by legal enforcement steps in case of non-compliance.
- Guide the organization in the complex pharmaceutical environment for all and any legal matters.
- Protect and increase the present and future value of the Company's assets, rights, image and reputation.
- Advise on strict and complex regulation and law and find legal solutions when there is no existing established situations/solutions.
- Deal with complex R&D; and Medical questions and issues where highly regulated environment is associated with criminal sanctions (French Code of Public Health) - Avoid violations of complex set of laws and regulation regarding R&D; and Medical questions with potential severe fine and sanctions (criminal) in accordance with French Code of Public Health - BE an active member of French Medical
