Les missions du poste
Located at our production site in Tournus (Bourgogne), you will BE part of the EMEAI team. In this role, you will BE a skilled IT professional specializing in delivering IT infrastructure projects within the region to a high standard. Additionally, you will manage and support the existing core IT infrastructure to ensure its continued operation. You will report to the IT Manager based in the UK, and fluency in English and French is essential.
- In conjunction with Service Assurance team, you will manage the IT infrastructure projects for sites where local Service Assurance team members are present.
- Follow global standards when implementing any new IT solutions, and participate in the evaluation and selection of IT Infrastructure technologies where global standards are not in place
- Continually review the IT infrastructure in region to identify opportunities for improvements in system performance and reliability. Monitors and proactively identifies uptime issues, making recommendations for eliminating those issues.
- Manage the lifecycle of the core IT infrastructure in region, including servers, network devices, storage, UPS, cooling units.
- Participate in the design, implementation, and execution of backup and disaster recovery plans for critical systems in region and assists in the regular testing of the disaster recovery plans.
- Point of escalation for any complex technical issues or changes relating to infrastructure in region and working with global IT teams when necessary.
- Manage the procurement of core IT infrastructure relating to active projects and lifecycle replacements, following locally defined financial procedures and guidelines.
- Ensure documentation is developed and maintained, especially for new IT infrastructure solutions being implemented
- Assist with Service Assurance tasks when necessary, at times of high workloads or staff unavailability
- Degree in computer science or related field and at least 5 years of IT experience, or equivalent experience covering an IT Systems Administrator role.
- Knowledge of main Microsoft OS Server systems, Cisco
- Knowledge of virtualization environments (VMware, HyperV, Citrix)
- Able to successfully manage complex IT environments and projects.
- Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Ability to work in a cross-functional environment.
- French and English
