We are recruiting a talented Product Manager to join our Offer Product Management team to work on our current and future portfolio of solutions in our Offer Search and Shopping Area.
The Airlines Solutions product management organization (PMT) focuses on delivering a best-in-class, data-driven & traveler-centric Airline product portfolio that is market-adapted and allows us to delivery unique, competitive and recognized value to airlines.
Within IT, the Offer Product Management team, works on driving and leading the creation of products and capabilities that allow airlines to build dynamic, customer-centric and optimized offers.
In particular, the ability to generate offers for travellers looking to enrich, change or refund an existing reservation requires specific capabilities to answer the need of airlines looking to become next-generation retailers.
As a Product Manager working on the Offer Search and Shopping area, you will drive product management activities across the end-to-end product lifecycle of our existing Altea products in this area (Flex Pricer, Instant Search, Massive Search and our NDC Shopping solutions) as well as working on the future of our offering, looking to define and ensure the evolution of the capabilities related to Search and Shopping for our Nevio Offer Management system product.

Search and Shopping product portfolio presents a unique set of challenges around functional evolution and performance/cost optimization, given the high volume and ever-growing number of transactions received by Airlines, that are perfect for a motivated Product Manager looking to marry business, functional and technical expertise within a same role.

Your Main Responsibilities

Common accountabilities :

- Proficient in technical knowledge to ensure team performs at a high level. Is recognized as a leader in own area and may formally train Specialists/Senior Specialists.
- Understands how main business drivers may impact on own area. Can assess complex problems with broad impact on the activity, improve processes, recommend solutions and risk mitigation plans. Able to communicate complex information.
- Works with a high level of autonomy, based on management directions. Leads projects or contributes to broad cross-functional projects. May contribute to planning of resources and budget.

Specific accountabilities :

- Articulate & Develop value propositions and key messages corresponding to problem statements, and articulate them into new product concepts or upgrades.
- Define the product strategy, vision & the business value in line with the business owners and other relevant stakeholders.
- Analyze solution offerings of competitors and define the strategic positioning of the product in alignment with Product Marketing Management.
- Manage 3rd party partnerships : requirement definition and prioritization, coordination of product evolution and other activities with the partner.
- Embark Amadeus teams on product vision, share product knowledge and ensure mutual understanding of the business.
- Drive co-innovation with customers to validate customer value drivers, define features of the products (MVP and beyond), and prioritize based on effort and expected business value.
- Define and manage product roadmap; socialize and align timelines with relevant stakeholders. Work closely with Product Marketing Management, Operations (Customer Service/Delivery/GO To Market) and R&D teams to define priorities and releasing plan for new products or upgrades.
- Coordinate different functional and technical streams with R&D teams to ensure end to end solution consistency.
- Manage the budget for area of responsibility including capacity planning with R&D.
- Participate in Agile events (Lean Portfolio Management, PI planning, System demos, Inspect and Adapt workshops...) when applicable / required.
- When applicable, fulfill Product Owner role or ART PM and work with R&D teams to maximize the agile teams outcome.
- Ensure solutions (to BE) released meet the users needs and product readiness guidelines.

About the Ideal Candidate :
- Knowledge of SAFe and Agile methodology
- Knowledge of Cloud methodology (ideally Azure)
- Used tools such as Jira, Power BI and Qlik
- Familiarity of Product Lifecycle (PLC)
