We are recruiting our future Safety Manager (M/F) on a permanent contract based at our Mont-Blanc production site in Chef-du-Pont.
Job Description :
Reporting to the Plant Director, you will BE responsible for defining, implementing, and monitoring the security, health, working conditions, and safety strategy for the Chef-du-Pont site. You ensure the proper functioning of the safety management system and more broadly the safety service, supporting colleagues in the risk prevention approach.
Your main responsibilities are as follows :
- Lead and monitor the safety committee/general action plan and ensure that safety instructions and procedures are applied.
- Coordinate the safety training plan at all levels in collaboration with the HR department and raise employee awareness (skills enhancement plan, methodology, tools, etc.).
- BE the main contact for local authorities and the group on safety matters.
- Update the security audit schedule, centralize audit reports, and ensure required actions are followed up.
- Ensure proper management of accidents and infirmary care (statistics, analysis, action plan, display).
- BE responsible for fire safety and first aid (equipment verification/maintenance, fire-fighting device maintenance, intervention team training, signage/testing implementation).
- As a Health and Safety reference, ensure that the plant's practices comply with legal/regulatory/internal standards (CARSAT contact, CSE management).
- Improve current practices in terms of people's health and safety (site health and safety master plan, training, etc.).
- Ensure the security of assets as the guarantor of site safety (equipment/procedures/safety registers implementation).
