What you will do :
In France, UK, Spain & Italy, our Europe South (EUS) Division manages Volvo Group's owned and leased properties. The EUS division's portfolio consists of factories, offices, warehouses & dealerships. We support the local business with investments, construction projects and long- and short-term maintenance.
Lyon is our main site in the division, gathering all type of activities, and gathering most of Volvo Group's business organizations. IT is about 5000 people working in more than 500 000 sqm of buildings
As Director for Lyon site, you are an active business partner for the EUS division management team, and you contribute and collaborate in all aspects of the EUS division. This is a leading leader position meaning that you are the line manager of the 3 Lyon site managers, including leading, developing and supporting your team members as well as driving the team´s continuous improvement journey.
Lyon site is made of about 20 people with various skills in our real estate areas including the 3 managers you will manage.
You will report to the VP EUS division and BE part of the EUS management team.

To BE successful in your new job you need the following toolbox :
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business Administration or equivalent experience
- Minimum 10 years' experience in real estate and facility management - or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge of skills and abilities.
- Consolidated leadership skills with a successful leading leader experience
- You have worked with a tough change agenda and value change as something important to stay ahead.
- You have business understanding and are oriented with a drive for results and an ability to work effectively in a global matrix organization with a broad range of stakeholders.
- Experience within the areas of Real Estate and Sustainability is a strong advantage.
You have a lot of energy and love for developing and influencing people around you to BE their best selves and to drive innovative teams that are accountable to deliver.
You need to BE flexible, well organized and have sharp communication and networking skills. But most of all you are a true team player and contribute with a good team spirit.
As we are a truly global and diverse company you also need great communication skills in English, spoken and written.
