La mission

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Back-End Developer specializing in Symfony to join our team. The ideal candidate will BE responsible for developing and maintaining robust back-end solutions, ensuring seamless integration with front-end systems, and optimizing overall application performance.
Examples of projects include : creating a Back Office (CRM, statistics and client database support), implementing RESTful APIs for a payment processor, overseeing an email & SMS sender, or overseeing anonline file converter.

This role requires strong technical expertise, proactive problem-solving skills, and fluency in English.
Upon arrival you will join a team of 4 developers (2 front-end and 2 back-end), and work alongside one of the current Back-End developers throughout your onboarding process. Once settled into your position, your main responsibilities will BE :
- Develop and maintain scalable backend applications using Symfony.
- Design, implement, and optimize database structures, queries, and relationships.
- Collaborate with React front-end developers to integrate APIs and ensure smooth data flow.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve complex backend issues.
- Ensure code quality and consistency through version control systems using Git.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in backend development.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical discussions within the team.

The profile :
- You benefit from at least 5 years of experience in a similar position, with strong command of PHP and the Symfony framework
- You have previous experience with unit testing and testing frameworks (PHPUnit), as well as RESTful APIs.
- You are proficient in relational databases (MySQL) and ORMs (Doctrine).
- You have a strong grasp of version control workflows, particularly using Git.
- You are familiar with Docker and containerized environments.
- You're proactive, strong in autonomy, and know the best security practices in backend development
