Fabrication Manager
Subsea Fabrication Project, Egypt
The opportunity
Capefront is supporting a major international LNG project and is looking for an experienced Fabrication Manager to join the fabrication team in Egypt.
The position is based at Petrojet, Egypt, and will be performed on a rotational basis. The successful candidate will lead the site fabrication activities and coordinate the fabrication teams, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
The Fabrication Manager will:
Lead the site fabrication team, including supervisors, engineers, and the subcontractor's production workforce.
Review fabrication methods and identify improvements to productivity, schedule performance, and resource planning.
Monitor fabrication performance and implement corrective actions when required.
Coordinate fabrication activities with Site Management, QA/QC, and HSE teams.
Participate in meetings with subcontractors and the project team.
Support inspections, audits, and technical reviews.
Ensure that fabrication activities comply with the applicable project requirements and international standards.
Contribute to the successful delivery of the fabrication scope in a demanding, international, and multicultural environment.
Contract conditions
Location: Egypt.
Worksite: Petrojet.
Start date: As soon as possible.
Contract duration: One year.
Rotation: 8 weeks on site and 2 weeks off, subject to confirmation.
Accommodation: Provided during the assignment.

Le profil recherché
Candidate profile
The ideal candidate will have:
At least 20 years of experience in subsea fabrication.
At least 10 years of experience working for a fabrication contractor or fabricator.
Proven experience in a large-scale subsea fabrication yard.
Strong knowledge of international fabrication standards and practices.
Previous experience managing subcontractor production teams.
Experience working with multicultural and international project teams.
Strong leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
The ability to monitor performance and implement practical corrective actions.
Fluent or professional-level English, which is mandatory.
