Les missions du poste
Key Responsibilities :
1. On-Site HSE Supervision
o Supervise and monitor daily HSE activities on site.
o Ensure compliance with company HSE policies, procedures, and applicable local regulations.
o Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with construction activities.
o Conduct regular HSE inspections and follow up on corrective actions.
o Monitor and ensure subcontractors' compliance with HSE requirements.
2. Risk Management in Civil Engineering Operations
o Monitor safety conditions during heavy lifting and handling operations.
o Supervise safety measures related to working at height.
o Ensure compliance with safety procedures during excavation, special foundation, and geotechnical works.
o Monitor safety arrangements for prestressing, post-tensioning, and structural installation activities.
o Verify the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and collective protection systems.
o Participate in risk assessments before the commencement of critical operations.
3. HSE Awareness, Training & Prevention
o Organize and conduct Toolbox Talks and safety meetings.
o Deliver HSE inductions for new employees and subcontractors.
o Raise awareness of specific risks associated with construction activities.
o Promote a strong safety culture among operational teams.
o Support site management in implementing HSE best practices.
4. HSE Documentation, Compliance & Reporting
o Prepare and review Risk Assessments and Job Safety Analyses (JSA).
o Review Method Statements and safe working procedures.
o Monitor the implementation of Permit to Work (PTW) systems.
o Participate in internal and external HSE audits.
o Prepare HSE reports and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
o Record, investigate, and analyze incidents, accidents, and near misses.
o Implement and monitor corrective and preventive action plans.
Le profil recherché
o Degree or relevant qualification in HSE, Civil Engineering, Engineering, or a related field.
o Significant experience in HSE supervision within construction and civil engineering projects.
o Ideally, a minimum of 10 years of professional HSE experience.
o Proven experience on major infrastructure projects, such as bridges, viaducts, tunnels, special foundations, or other major civil engineering structures.
o Previous experience on large-scale international construction projects would be an advantage.
Technical Skills :
o Strong knowledge of HSE risks associated with civil engineering and construction activities.
o Solid understanding of safety procedures related to heavy lifting, working at height, excavation, and other high-risk operations.
o Proficiency in Risk Assessments, JSA, PTW systems, and Method Statements.
o Good knowledge of international HSE management systems and safety standards.
o NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent HSE certifications would be highly appreciated.

o Strong field-oriented approach and proactive attitude towards safety.
o Ability to work independently with a high level of responsibility.
o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
o Strong ability to promote safety awareness among site personnel.
o Ability to work effectively in multicultural environments.
o Adaptability to technically demanding construction environments.
Languages :
o Turkish: Fluent.
o English: Professional working proficiency required.
