As part of the Global Semiconductor Purchasing team, you will support the buyers in managing strategic sourcing activities within a fast-paced and international automotive environment.
This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure to purchasing strategy, supplier management, semiconductor market intelligence, and digital tool development supporting executive decision-making.
Main Responsibilities :
Purchasing & Sourcing Support :
- Support Request for Information (RFI) and Request for Quotation (RFQ) activities.
- Participate in supplier sourcing and benchmarking exercises.
- Consolidate and analyze supplier quotations.
- Prepare presentation materials and sourcing recommendations for internal stakeholders.
Market Intelligence & Research :
- Conduct semiconductor market research and competitive intelligence.
- Monitor industry trends, technology developments, and supply chain risks.
- Analyze supplier landscapes, market capacities, and emerging players.
- Support strategic purchasing decisions through data-driven insights.
Supplier Performance & Surveys :
- Prepare and manage supplier surveys and questionnaires.
- Collect, consolidate, and analyze supplier responses.
- Maintain supplier databases and dashboards.
- Support supplier performance monitoring activities.
Digital Tools & Innovation :
- Develop, maintain, and improve purchasing and market intelligence tools.
- Support automation initiatives using Excel, Power BI, Power Automate, AI tools, or similar digital solutions.
- Identify opportunities to improve team efficiency through innovative digital approaches.
- Contribute to data visualization and reporting solutions for management reviews.
Le profil recherché
Required Qualifications :
- Bac +5 student (Engineering School, Business School, Supply Chain, Purchasing, Economics, Data Analytics, or similar).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work autonomously while interacting with international teams.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
Language Skills :
- French: Professional/Native level.
- English: Professional working proficiency (written and spoken).
Technical Skills :
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Good knowledge of PowerPoint.
- Interest in data analytics and digital tools.
- Knowledge of Power BI, Power Automate, Python, VBA, AI tools, or database management would be considered a strong advantage.
