Senior HVAC Business Manager H/F TECNIZY-GCAT GROUP

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

Business Development & Strategic Management :
- Lead and develop the HVAC business activity, ensuring sustainable growth and profitability.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand the existing client portfolio.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Define and implement business development strategies aligned with the company's objectives.
- Manage the overall performance of the HVAC business unit, including revenue, margins, budgets, and operational efficiency.
- Contribute to strategic decisions regarding business expansion, resources, and technical development.

HVAC Engineering & Technical Expertise :
- Oversee HVAC engineering and design activities throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide technical expertise in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and associated building services.
- Supervise engineering studies, technical calculations, system sizing, and equipment selection.
- Review technical specifications, drawings, tender documents, and engineering proposals.
- Evaluate project feasibility and recommend technically and financially optimized solutions.
- Ensure coordination between engineering teams, project managers, site teams, and clients.
- Provide technical guidance and resolve complex engineering or installation issues.

Project & Operational Management :
- Oversee HVAC projects from initial design and tendering through construction, commissioning, and final handover.
- Supervise cost estimation, tender preparation, budgeting, and project planning.
- Monitor project execution to ensure compliance with technical specifications, quality standards, deadlines, and budgets.
- Coordinate internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Identify and mitigate technical, contractual, financial, and operational risks.
- Ensure projects achieve expected profitability and client satisfaction.
- Support project teams in resolving technical and operational challenges.

Team Leadership & Management :
- Lead, coordinate, and develop multidisciplinary HVAC teams.
- Supervise engineers, project managers, business managers, and site personnel.
- Allocate resources efficiently across ongoing projects.
- Provide technical and managerial support to team members.
- Foster collaboration between engineering, commercial, and operational departments.
- Support recruitment, team development, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Commercial & Financial Management :
- Prepare, review, and validate technical and commercial proposals.
- Participate in client negotiations and contract discussions.
- Monitor project budgets, cash flow, financial performance, and profit margins.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and business profitability.
- Take responsibility for the financial performance of the HVAC activity.
- Maintain strong relationships with key accounts and strategic partners.
