Waste O&M Proposal Manager H/F SUEZ

VOTRE MISSION

Within SUEZ's Business Excellence Department, you will work as a Proposal Manager to support international development in the field of recycling (energy recovery, sorting of separately collected waste, and anaerobic digestion) and especially waste-to-energy/x.

Under the reporting of the O&M Proposal Director, you will participate to the bid strategy up to contract signature and oversee the production and consistency of commercial and technical proposals, coordinating both internal and external stakeholders.

The projects involved are large-scale wastes infrastructures representing significant O&M activity and turnover, together with potential investments for SUEZ of several hundred million euros, primarily in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia on major strategic bids.

Your role is strategic: you will contribute to the competitiveness, quality, and compliance of proposals.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Proposal Manager of International O&M Waste Projects

- Lead the production of proposals under the supervision of the Project Director,
- Be in charge and optimize the O&M Costing sheet and the Major Maintenance and Renewal Plan
- Coordinate internal teams (technical, finance, legal, commercial) and external partners in a multicultural environment,
- Propose and produce distinctive proposals while ensuring alignment with client requirements and Group strategy,
- Ensure the quality, consistency, and competitiveness of proposals within set deadlines,
- In case a Proposal Director has not been designated, organize and coordinate negotiation meetings with the client.

2. Guidance and support for project management

- Identify and manage project risks and opportunities.
- Prepare for and participate in steering committees and management reporting.
- Formalize the Project Management Plan: organizational chart, schedule, governance, deliverables, and budget.
- Contribute to the preparation and negotiation of contracts up to signature.
- Ensure the smooth flow of information and summarize key points for decision-making.
- Support the project transition after contract signature

This is a highly international role - travel will be required depending on project needs.

VOTRE PROFIL

You are a graduate of an engineering school or equivalent and have at least 5 years' experience in project management and tendering within the process industry (energy, chemicals), ideally including waste-to-energy.

You have a good understanding of technical, financial and contractual aspects.

You are independent, meticulous and customer-focused, capable of managing multicultural and multidisciplinary teams across different departments.
