Waste O&M Proposal Director H/F SUEZ

VOTRE MISSION

Within SUEZ's Business Excellence Department, you will act as Operation and Maintenance (O&M) Proposal Director on strategic international projects in the field of recycling and especially waste-to-energy.

Your role is pivotal: you will manage the entire project lifecycle, from opportunity identification to contract signing and project launch. You will define the bid strategy and ensure the technical, economic, contractual, and financial robustness of proposals.

The projects involved are large-scale wastes infrastructures representing significant O&M activity and turnover , together with potential investments for SUEZ of several hundred million euros, primarily in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia on major strategic bids.

Main Responsibilities

1 Proposal Director of International O&M Energy-from Waste Projects:

- Analyze opportunities and technical, contractual, and financial requirements.
- Coordinate internal expertise (technical, finance, legal, insurance, operations...) and external partners.
- Define the O&M bid strategy together with the partners to design a competitive, differentiated technical and commercial solution aligned with Group strategy.
- Have input into the design process from an O&M perspective
- Develop the O&M Offer including staffing, lifecycle replacement and pricing models
- Implement in our offers when possible any returns of experience and/or innovative solutions
- Negotiate the long-term O&M Contract and in some cases the Interface Agreement with the EPC Contractor and the SPV(Investment Company).
- Secure technical and contractual commitments made by SUEZ.
- Attend frequent meetings with Customers and/or partners.

2. Project governance and leadership:

- Lead the O&M offers in an international, multicultural environment.
- Subject to Contractual Models ( BOT, DBO&M,O&M ) ,attend and/or animate steering committees and report to senior management.
- Supervise and challenge the O&M costing manager ,
- Organize the transition after contract signature.

This is a highly international role - travel will be required depending on project needs.

VOTRE PROFIL

You have significant experience (minimum 15 years) in developing and managing O&M large, complex waste-to-energy offers (and ideally in waste sorting and valorization).

You have recognized experience in managing complex public tenders, as well as contractual, technical and economic.

Your expertise and knowledge in dealing with investors and waste-to-energy contractors and technology providers are essential for this function.

You have operational English skills that enable effective collaboration on international projects.

Finally, you demonstrate strong leadership and strategic vision, capable of uniting multicultural teams, negotiating with international partners.
