We are recruiting a Software Safety & Assurance Engineer to join an international team developing advanced software solutions for the Air Traffic Management (ATM) sector. This is a unique opportunity to work on complex, regulated systems where safety, quality, and compliance are at the core of every project.
Your Responsibilities
As a Software Safety & Assurance Engineer, you will contribute to safety and assurance activities throughout the software lifecycle.
Safety Engineering
- Conduct and maintain safety assessments and analyses.
- Perform FHA, PSSA, SSA, FMEA/FMECA, FTA and other safety studies.
- Support hazard identification, risk assessment, and mitigation activities.
- Define, review, and maintain safety requirements and traceability.
- Participate in safety reviews and certification activities.
Software Assurance & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with applicable aviation and ATM standards and regulations.
- Review software lifecycle data, deliverables, and evidence.
- Support software assurance activities across development, verification, validation, and maintenance phases.
- Contribute to audit preparation and certification reviews.
- Support anomaly management, change control, and corrective actions.
Collaboration & Certification
- Work closely with software engineers, system engineers, quality specialists, and project managers.
- Interface with customers, authorities, and external stakeholders when required.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and engineering best practices.
- Support certification planning and compliance demonstrations.
Le profil recherché
Your Profile :
✅ Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, Safety Engineering, or a related discipline.
✅ Experience in one or more of the following:
- Safety Engineering
- Software Assurance
- Design Assurance
- Software Quality Assurance
- Certification Engineering
- RAMS Engineering
✅ Knowledge of safety-critical or highly regulated environments.
✅ Familiarity with software development lifecycles, verification, validation, and requirements traceability.
Nice-to-Have Skills
Experience or knowledge of:
- ARP4754A
- ARP4761 / ARP4761A
- DO-178C
- DO-278A
- ED-109A
- ED-153
- ED-205A
- Air Traffic Management (ATM) systems
- Configuration and change management
- Python, C/C++, or scripting languages
