Les missions du poste
As a Business Analyst specialized in Energy & Utilities, you'll be the connecting point between business and technical teams. Your mission: bring high-impact projects to life in an energy sector undergoing constant transformation.
In concrete terms, you will:
- Gather business requirements directly from the field, through interviews, workshops, and user stories.
- Use data to gain a deep understanding of business processes and trace issues back to their root causes.
- Map existing processes to identify optimization opportunities.
- Work hand in hand with IT teams to build technology solutions aligned with business goals.
- Bridge the gap between stakeholders to ensure buy-in around proposed solutions.
- Actively contribute to testing and validation phases, all the way through to go-live.
Le profil recherché
Must have:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Functional Analyst in the Energy & Utilities industry.
- Solid understanding of the Belgian energy market: Distribution Grid Operators, the value chain, the regulatory framework, and the energy transition (MIG6, GDPR, CREG...).
- Proficiency in business analysis tools and methods (UML, BPMN), combined with strong communication skills, whether dealing with technical or non-technical stakeholders.
- You're based in Belgium, comfortable in English both spoken and written, and have at least a professional level of Dutch (or French).
Nice to have:
- Good knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- An interest in Data (SQL, MS Access, PowerBI).
- Familiarity with sector-specific IT systems: Salesforce CRM, SAP ISU, Central Market System, MIG6, Mecoms.
- An IREB, ECBA, or CBAP certification.
