Détail du poste

YOUR ROLE

No less than 90% of world trade is carried by sea. Every day, the CMA CGM Group transports vast volumes of goods across more than 200 shipping routes, at the heart of the great balances of international trade.

Joining an international shipping line, you will be close to the commercial, pricing and geopolitical issues that shape global maritime transport: shifting trade flows, geopolitical tensions, market dynamics, and the pricing policy of the zones served.

Reporting to the Commercial Line Manager, you will contribute to the analysis and steering of your zone's pricing policy: market studies, performance monitoring, budget variance analysis, and competitive and geopolitical intelligence. Depending on the team's needs, you may also be involved in commercial exchanges with our agents around the world.

It is a privileged vantage point on how an international shipping line operates - an excellent starting point for those who see themselves building a career shaped by international, economic and geopolitical stakes.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

  • Analyze your zone's pricing policy and propose recommendations in coordination with the Market Manager and Line Manager.
  • Monitor the line's commercial performance and analyze variances against budget to propose corrective actions.
  • Conduct market studies: market share analysis, use of industry databases (Dataliner, CTS), competitive and geopolitical intelligence.
  • Monitor freight levels, capacity, competition and market trends across your zone.
  • Produce regular performance reporting for line management.
  • Help prepare materials for commercial calls and steering committees.
  • As needed, take part in processing quotation requests and liaising with CMA CGM agents worldwide.
  • Collaborate with network teams, agents and cross-functional stakeholders (Customer Service, Reefer, OOG, depending on the line).

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Education: Bachelor's/Master's degree (Bac +4/5) from a business school, or in Supply Chain, Maritime Transport, Logistics or Data/Business Analysis.
  • Fluent English, written and spoken.
  • Proficient in Excel: pivot tables, advanced formulas, databases.
  • Strong analytical skills and synthesis mindset.
  • Curiosity for international trade, geopolitical dynamics and global markets.
  • Commercial drive and enjoyment of negotiation.
  • Knowledge of Incoterms and international logistics.
  • Second language: Arabic, Mandarin, Spanish, Portuguese.
  • International experience or multicultural background.
