Your next challenge ? Field Service Engineer
Join Prodways Printers, which designs, manufactures, and markets professional and industrial 3D printers. You'll help commission and install 3D printers, provide on-site training to customers, and troubleshoot equipment directly at customer locations. Travel to the United States (primarily) and Europe is expected (50 to 80% of the time).
Reporting to :
You will report to the Customer Support Manager.
Your responsibilities :
- Contribute to R&D projects as a field expert ;
- Install our machines on-site ;
- Perform corrective and preventive maintenance at our clients' sites internationally ;
- Occasionally participate in application deployments at our clients' sites ;
- Perform remote diagnostics and assist our clients in resolving their technical issues ;
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the machine and the development of technical documentation.
Le profil recherché
What we're looking for :
- Technical training equivalent to at least two years of post-secondary education ;
- Initial experience in after-sales service in an international setting, particularly in the United States ;
- Strong skills in electronics, mechanics, and manufacturing processes ;
- Strong analytical skills to diagnose complex technical issues ;
- Resourceful and hands-on, comfortable with mechanical adjustments and on-site troubleshooting ;
- Technically curious, with a genuine desire to identify the root cause of a problem and find solutions ;
- Good interpersonal skills, a service-oriented mindset, and a meticulous approach.
