Job Description

The Global Health Commercial Operations Specialist plays a critical role in supporting the Waters Advanced Diagnostics Global Agency Accounts team and ensuring operational excellence across complex international public health partnerships. This position serves as a key operational resource supporting quotations, tenders, contract administration, forecasting, order fulfillment, customer communications, and reporting activities for international organizations, NGOs, Ministries of Health, UN agencies, and donor-funded programs.
The successful candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment where no two customers are alike. Success in this role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple concurrent customer requests, quotations, tenders, orders, and follow-up activities without compromising accuracy or responsiveness. The individual must be comfortable working across multiple functions, regions, and time zones while maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer service.
This role is well suited to an individual who enjoys bringing structure to complexity, has a strong sense of urgency, and excels at managing numerous moving pieces simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and follow-through.
This position directly supports global health initiatives focused on improving access to diagnostic technologies in low- and middle-income countries and contributes to the successful execution of high-impact public health programs worldwide.


Responsibilities

• Provide commercial operational support for Global Agency Accounts and global public health customers.
• Prepare quotations and commercial proposals in accordance with customer-specific procurement requirements, pricing approvals, contract terms, and compliance requirements.
• Coordinate international tenders, RFQs, RFIs, and procurement submissions, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to submission deadlines.
• Manage multiple customer requests and priorities simultaneously while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and responsiveness.
• Track awarded tenders, contracts, and purchase orders to ensure timely execution and fulfillment of customer commitments.
• Coordinate activities across customers and internal stakeholders, including Supply Chain, Customer Service, Regulatory Affairs, Quality, Finance, Logistics, Technical Service, Marketing, and Commercial teams.
• Monitor order fulfillment, shipment status, inventory availability, and backorders, proactively communicating potential risks and supporting issue resolution.
• Support forecasting and demand planning activities through accurate tracking of opportunities, awards, purchase orders, and customer requirements.
• Prepare and maintain commercial documentation, due diligence packages, regulatory records, customer communications, and business reports.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, donor requirements, tender conditions, shelf-life requirements, and country-specific import/export considerations.
• Maintain customer trackers, reporting tools, dashboards, and business records that support operational visibility and decision-making.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational processes and contribute to implementation efforts that enhance efficiency and customer experience.
• Support preparation of business reviews, presentations, customer updates, and internal reporting activities.
• Respond professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, and virtual meetings while maintaining a customer-first mindset.

About You

• Bachelor's degree, diploma, or equivalent experience in Business, Commercial Operations, Supply Chain, Life Sciences, Public Health, or a related field.
• Experience in commercial operations, customer service, tender management, project coordination, order management, supply chain, or a related operational role.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
• Experience with Power BI, CRM systems, ERP systems, or reporting tools is preferred.
• Experience working in healthcare, diagnostics, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, procurement services, NGOs, or global health organizations is beneficial.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects, customer requests, and deadlines simultaneously while maintaining a high degree of accuracy.

  Salary range for the role: €28.100 to €47.000
