Les missions du poste
As the FPGA Team Lead, you will architect future generations of our in-house satellite equipment - including the next generation of our camera to support our vision-based navigation system - while leading and growing the FPGA team. Collaborating closely with electronics, software, and systems engineering teams, you will steer our long-term technology roadmaps and oversee the delivery of highly reliable, mission-critical flight systems. You will mentor engineers, define and enforce processes, and oversee verification activities to ensure all FPGA deliverables consistently meet the standards required for spaceflight. This is a hands-on technical leadership role at the core of our flight system's operational capability.
Job Description
- Define end-to-end FPGA system architectures and low-level block designs from system-level requirements for new core equipment to be deployed on satellites.
- Drive technology roadmaps to continually improve performance and identify opportunities for new development.
- Collaborate with the Systems and Software teams to ensure seamless integration of FPGA solutions with flight software and satellite systems.
- Lead, mentor, and grow the FPGA engineering team.
- Drive task breakdown, resource allocation, schedule risk identification, and project delivery estimates.
- Manage technical relationships with external vendor and supplier technical leads.
- Establish and uphold design standards, VHDL coding guidelines and processes.
- Document design decisions, implementation details, and testing protocols for future reference and compliance purposes.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in FPGA technology and embedded systems to improve system designs and practices continually.
