Mechanical Support Engineer H/F Perenco

This is an excellent opportunity to join Perenco's Maintenance Team at Wytch Farm, Dorset. The role is responsible for providing day-to-day mechanical engineering support across the asset, including leading the Mechanical Technician Team to deliver a safe, efficient, and reliable maintenance service. The successful candidate will also contribute to the development and implementation of the long-term mechanical infrastructure strategy for the asset.

This is a Mon-Friday office role based on-site.

Key Responsibilities Include:

-Work with the technician team to plan and safely deliver the asset work schedule
-Liaise with technicians, contractors and others to ensure efficient execution of maintenance and minor modification work
-Co-ordinate the engineering review and approval of plant modifications
-Plan and deliver minor mechanical projects / minor modification work as required
-Analyse plant breakdowns and implement actions for improved performance; specify modifications to plant equipment and systems.
-Manage the effectiveness of equipment maintenance strategies.
-Review and optimise inventory requirements for mechanical equipment. Manage non-inventory procurement requirements including specification of equipment.
-Support the training and development of technicians.

There are a number of Safety Critical Tasks that you will be made aware of and systems you will be required to competently operate.
