As Associate Director in Custody - Tax Operations, you are responsible to build and lead our Tax Services department to ensure its smooth operations across multiple markets to deliver upon CACEIS' strategy for a global follow the sun philosophy in delivering best in class service to our clients.

What will you do?
To ensure review and submit relevant tax documents and forms to our agents to ensure clients' tax status are up to date and in adherence to market requirements
To connect with the relevant tax authorities and adhere to the relevant tax guidelines and rules thereby always ensuring our clients' full compliance to the requirements.
Design, implement and maintain frameworks for tracking and control of the processes surrounding the tax operations space and identify opportunities to optimize the operating model.
Ensures well delivery of services in line with business objectives that aligned with key metrics and organisational goals leveraging operational data in driving business decisions and team performance.
To engage and support our clients on relevant queries on tax matters and engage with relevant stakeholders such as account managers, client service teams and adjacent operations teams where required in a timely manner.
Build a high-performance team by hiring, training and developing them to deliver on overall operational goals; provide ongoing feedback and conduct formal performance reviews on a semi-annual basis; ensure Business Recovery Planning is conducted and tested on a regular basis.
Working alongside peers from other locations of Global Custody, to actively contribute in ideas and influence stakeholders in shaping the strategic priorities of the global function surrounding operating model, frameworks of control and governance, and product enhancement roadmap.
