Operations Officer H/F MANPOWER - LUXEMBOURG

Client Description:
Manpower is recruiting an Operations Officer for one of its clients operating in the financial sector and based in Luxembourg, for a temporary assignment.Job Description:

Your missions:

- Record incoming cash flows across various mandate portfolios using eFront and follow up on outstanding payments
- Create and update bank accounts and maintain accurate static data within internal systems
- Perform regular cash balance and deposit controls related to mandates
- Investigate discrepancies, conduct the necessary analyses, and escalate issues when required
- Work closely with Finance teams to ensure the accuracy and completeness of bookings and reconciliations
- Provide operational support to team members during peak periods and holiday coverage
- Assist with the migration and organization of document filing systems
- Support internal controls and audit exercises by identifying and preparing the required documentation
- Maintain and update operational procedures and existing documentation
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal processes and tools
Candidate Profile:
Your profile:
- University degree in Finance, Banking, Business Administration, or a related field
- 3 to 6 years of experience in banking operations, payments, settlements, or financial back-office activities
- Good understanding of middle-office or back-office functions within a financial environment
- Strong proficiency with MS Office and information systems
- Knowledge of PowerApps, Alteryx, or Tableau would be considered an asset
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail when handling financial and operational data
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities effectively
- Team-oriented mindset with flexibility and adaptability
- Proactive approach and strong problem-solving abilities
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken; knowledge of additional European languages would be an advantage
