Les missions du poste

As Area Sales Manager Europe & Central Asia, you will join the International Business Development Business Unit and play a key role in the commercial development of ÉLÉPHANT VERT across the following strategic markets:

Northern Europe, Central Europe, Eastern Europe and Central Asia.

Reporting to the International Development Director, you will be the main point of contact for our partners and distributors within your region, while leading growth projects in high-potential markets.

You will ensure rigorous, proactive and tailored follow-up of your markets. Your mission will be to develop, optimize and manage a network of distributors and key accounts (B2B), while ensuring service quality, business profitability and the sustainability of ÉLÉPHANT VERT's margins.

You will be responsible for successfully negotiating business opportunities in a variety of cultural, economic and regulatory environments, while providing commercial, marketing, technical and agronomic expertise adapted to local market specificities.

You will identify and prospect new partners and markets, oversee field trials and product demonstrations, and contribute to the generation of strategic data supporting the development of our products.

Your role will also involve building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with our customers, while ensuring smooth communication and effective coordination with internal teams (technical, marketing, regulatory, legal and commercial).

You will monitor sales targets, oversee payment collections and proactively identify opportunities to improve commercial performance and drive growth within your region.

As part of your responsibilities, you will also provide functional and operational management of:

- a Technical Sales Representative based in Germany;

- a Sales Agent responsible for Central Asia.

You will support them in achieving their objectives and contribute to the development of the region's commercial performance.

This position is open to fully remote work.

Preferred location: France or Eastern Europe (Poland, Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary or Serbia).

Le profil recherché

You are a professional passionate about international business development and are comfortable operating within the agricultural sector and distribution networks.

You enjoy multicultural environments and know how to build sustainable partnerships with distributors, importers and major players in the agricultural industry.

Holding a higher education degree in international business, business development or agronomic engineering, you have at least 5 years of successful experience managing and developing international agricultural distribution networks.

Experience in agricultural inputs (biosolutions, fertilization, plant nutrition, biostimulation, biocontrol or crop protection) will be a major asset.

You are fully proficient in English, which is essential for working in an international environment.

Proficiency in French would be an advantage.

Knowledge of a Slavic language (Russian, Polish, Serbian, Bulgarian or another Slavic language) will be particularly appreciated to support the development of certain strategic areas.

With excellent negotiation and customer relationship skills, you know how to identify market opportunities, propose suitable solutions and develop long-term partnerships.

Autonomous, curious, results-oriented and proactive, you are able to operate in a variety of environments while maintaining both a strategic and operational vision of your activities.
