What they need

We are seeking a motivated Underwriter to join our underwriting team, specializing in multi-line insurance with a primary focus on property lines and reinsurance placement. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with at least 3 years of relevant experience looking to grow within an international insurance environment serving corporate clients across the EU.

Underwriting & Reinsurance

• Provide technical support for underwriting and reinsurance placement activities for new and renewal accounts

• Ensure all underwriting activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements

• Assist in formulating underwriting guidelines, premium rating tariffs, and best practice standards to minimize risk and maximize efficiency

• Provide technical expertise for product wording development, supported by internal and external legal resources

Administrative & Operational Support

• Support administrative activities including data entry, premium calculations, documentation checks, and reinsurance premium payments

• Coordinate with internal departments and intra-group entities to ensure smooth program execution

• Liaise with brokers and clients on policy-related queries and follow-ups in a timely manner

Relationship Management

• Develop and maintain relationships with brokers and reinsurers to support business retention and acquisition

• Manage client communications and service delivery for corporate accounts

Profile wanted

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline

• Minimum of 3-6 years of experience in Property line underwriting

• Strong multi-line underwriting, claims, broking, or reinsurance knowledge

Technical Skills

• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues

• Experience creating and delivering programs for multiple or large corporate accounts

• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
