Reporting to Warehouse Team Lead, a Warehouse Associate is responsible for picking and pulling customer orders as assigned, loading and unloading product trucks, as well as performing warehouse organization duties while providing exceptional customer service.

Schedule: Monday to FridayStatus: Full Time, permanent, On-site

Responsibilities


Accurately pick, pack, and process orders for timely shipment. Pick customer orders for shipment and ensure accuracy by picking the correct number and type of product.
Compare internal orders with packing lists. Verifying/Receiving/inspecting and signing for shipment and courier deliveries. Unpack, inspect, sort and put stock away in appropriate locations.
Load and unload trailers and operate material handling equipment such as forklift or pallet jacks.
Conduct inventory cycle counts, maintain and organize inventory, ensure stock is in the correct location while keeping the warehouse clean and safe.
Communicate with the Supervisor regarding low stock items, and document and report any damage or deficiencies immediately.
Ensure the proper use of PPE and always adhere to safety protocols.
Maintain safety compliance when operating material handling equipment, perform daily inspection of forklift prior to use, and report any unsafe work conditions that may arise.
Complete other warehouse duties as required.

IS THIS JOB FOR YOU?

Here is what's important to have to apply:


High School Diploma or equivalent experience that provides working knowledge of distribution activities.
1 to 3 years of experience in warehouse/distribution and/or customer service-related activities.
Forklift certification is an asset (the employer is willing to train the right candidate)
Strong team player with excellent communication and customer service skills when interacting with customers and personnel.
Good organizational skills and the ability to work as part of a team with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Stamina - able to lift heavy items (more than 50lbs) for extended periods and perform repetitive physical work, including bending, lifting & reaching.
Punctual, dependable, and possess an excellent work ethic and a positive attitude. Attention to detail is essential for accurately identifying and handling items, descriptions and quantities.

We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer prospective candidates and provide the national pay range for this position which is $19.50 to $23.50 per hour, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. Please note this is the full range. Applicants should expect and offer somewhere in the middle of the range.
