Dimensional Inspector - Naval Structural Fabrication H/F SGS France

We are urgently seeking an experienced Dimensional Inspector with advanced expertise in highprecision measurement and naval structural fabrication. This position supports a major shipbuilding program and requires handson dimensional control across multiple stages of fabrication.

You will perform dimensional inspections throughout the structural fabrication lifecycle-from earlystage assemblies to final erection mapping-ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with engineering standards.

Scope of Work

• Conduct dimensional inspections on 2D/3D assemblies during naval structural fabrication.
• Perform weld release inspections, 3D measurements, and erection mapping.
• Verify structural geometry at various production stages.
• Analyze and prepare dimensional reports using advanced metrology tools.
• Work closely with engineering, QA, and production teams to maintain dimensional integrity
