Détail du poste
YOUR CHALLENGE AND THE CONTEXT
At Decathlon Switzerland, we are fundamentally transforming our supply chain: moving from a "stock" mindset to a fast, sustainable "flow" mindset.
Right now, our logistics team is facing a massive milestone: the upcoming relocation of our site to Niederwangen. Because Serena is currently fully dedicated to managing this complex relocation project, we need you to step in and take full ownership of the day-to-day transport operations.
Your mission is to keep the business running smoothly during this critical transition. While Serena handles the relocation, you will be the one ensuring our stores are replenished daily and our customers never face empty shelves.
WHAT YOU WILL ACTUALLY DO
This is a hands-on, operational role. You will be the "solo" orchestrator of this specific scope, but you won't work in isolation-you will collaborate closely with Célia (Logistics) and sync with Serena (Transport).
Your main goal is to improve product availability through efficient delivery schedules. You will:- Coordinate daily deliveries: You take the lead on daily operations. Ensure 90% of our stores receive daily deliveries, transitioning from a "stock" mindset to a "flow" mindset.
- Monitor operations: Work daily with Célia (Logistics) and Serena (Transport) to ensure transport plans are respected and efficient.
- Manage partners: Follow up with transport providers to ensure they meet our quality, cost, and deadline standards.
- Drive circularity: Implement "Reverse Logistics" to manage store returns, second-life products, and recycling back to our warehouse.
- Optimize transport plans: Help design and adapt transport routes for different regions to reduce CO2 emissions and costs.
Le profil recherché
We are looking for a "field expert" mindset. Junior profiles or recent graduates with a background in Supply Chain/Logistics are highly encouraged to apply!
- Language skills: English is mandatory. Proficiency in French and/or German is a major advantage.
- Mindset:This is a "solo" role on this specific scope. You need to be a self-starter, take initiative, and bea natural problem-solver.
- Customer-centric: You understand that a delay in transport is a disappointed customer in the store. You have a strong "sense of service."
- Analytical: You are rigorous with data-when you propose a solution, it's because you've analyzed the impact on the store and the final customer.
- Communication: You have great interpersonal skills and can work effectively with different teams (warehouse, supply, and Store Leaders).
- Sportsperson: Like all of us at Decathlon, you are a passionate and active sportsperson!
- Relocation:You will start inOnnens, but the role will berelocated to Niederwangen (Bern) in November 2026.
- Internalization:This is a temporary mission (until end of this year). Please note that there is no guarantee of extension or permanent internalization at the end of this period.
- Start date: We are looking for someone who can start before the summer (June, or early July at the latest).
WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?
We want to get to know the "real you" beyond your CV.
