Senior Electronics Engineer

Localisation : Pas-de-calais/ Bobigny, France

Contract : Permanent / Freelance or umbrella company

Start-up : ASAP - within 3 months maximum

Background:

In a context of industrial ramp-up, an electronics team composed of 7 engineers is strengthening its technical capacities.

The position mainly focuses onLow Voltage products, with a possible extension to HighVoltage architectures depending on the project.

The environment is oriented towards power products, series life, robustness and technical optimization.

Mission & scope of intervention:

The engineer works on existing products and their developments, with a high degree of technical autonomy.

Architecture & Design:

- Understanding and mastery of existing electronic architectures (LV mainly).

- Analysis and improvement of electronic schematics and PCB routing.

- Design in analog, digital electronics and especially in power electronics.

- Contribution to the evolution of the nomenclature (BOM optimization, component alternatives).

Series life & evolution management:

- Management of critical activities in the event of component problems (obsolescence, capacity tension, supplier modification).

- Redesign if necessary (partial or complete re-design).

- Development of validation and testing plans.

Validation & investigation :

- Implementation and supervision of test campaigns.

- Analysis of the results, identification of deviations and definition of corrective action plans.

Technical environment:

- Analog & Digital Electronics

- Power electronics (LV & potentially HV)

- Reading and understanding PCB schematics & routing

- Outils : Cadence, SPICE, Yuken, Symetrics

- BOM management & product validation

Profile sought:

- Minimum 5 years of experience in electronic design.

- Complete mastery of schematic reading and understanding of routing.

- Solid experience in power electronics (essential).

- Good level of oral and written English.
