An international engineering and energy consultancy is supporting a major industrial client on an ambitious decarbonisation programme in East London.
As part of its development in the UK, the company is looking for a Senior Site Project Engineer to lead on-site delivery and coordinate multiple stakeholders on this large-scale project. You will be based in London and play a key role in the delivery of energy and building services projects on an industrial site.
You will act as the main interface between the client, contractors and international technical teams (mainly based in Paris), ensuring smooth project execution.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and supervising site works (from design review to commissioning)
- Coordinating contractors, subcontractors and technical stakeholders
- Ensuring project delivery in line with schedule, budget and quality standards
- Reviewing technical documentation (drawings, specifications, execution plans)
- Managing commissioning activities in collaboration with partners
- Acting as the main point of contact on-site
- Driving coordination between local teams and international experts
- Supporting reporting to project management

Le profil recherché
- Engineering degree (energy, building services, mechanical, electrical or similar)
- Minimum 5 years' experience in engineering consultancy or construction in the UK
- Strong knowledge of UK construction practices and regulations
- Experience in site-based roles (project engineer, site engineer, works supervision...)
- Good understanding of building services systems: HVAC, BMS, lighting, etc.
- Experience in energy or decarbonisation projects is a strong advantage
- Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to lead and drive project delivery on site
- Autonomous, structured and proactive
- Comfortable working in an international environment
- English: fluent (mandatory)
- French: a plus
- Based in London with regular on-site presence (East London)
- Monthly trips to Paris (1-2 days/month)
