Les missions du poste
Are you passionate about materials chemistry, carbon nanostructures and advanced synthesis processes? Join LEDNA and contribute to the development of ambitious experimental research activities focused on the growth and processing of innovative carbon nanostructures.
You will work in a collaborative scientific environment and contribute to the development of research projects focused on the synthesis and integration of carbon nanostructures on various substrates, with the aim of designing materials and devices with controlled properties, particularly for applications in the fields of energy and advanced materials.
Main responsibilities:
- Design, develop and optimize synthesis processes for carbon nanostructures, notably using CVD.
- Conduct experimental studies to understand growth mechanisms (carbon nanotubes, graphene) and the influence of operating parameters on process performance.
- Perform physicochemical and structural characterization of materials using a multi-technique approach.
- Develop shaping and processing methods (dispersion, impregnation, nanotube sheet drawing, etc.) for the fabrication of composites or functional devices.
- Contribute to the integration of modelling approaches, artificial intelligence and digital twins for process optimization and control.
- Gradually supervise interns, PhD students and postdoctoral researchers.
- Promote scientific results through publications, international conference presentations and patent filings.
- Initiate or contribute to the development of collaborative research projects (ANR, European programs, industrial partnerships).
- Develop internal and external scientific collaborations and actively contribute to the collective life of the research unit.
Le profil recherché
You have ideally gained 1 to 5 years of postdoctoral experience, preferably in research environments different from your PhD laboratory. International experience or collaborations abroad will be highly valued.
Scientifically curious and motivated by experimental challenges, you are skilled in gas-phase synthesis approaches, advanced physicochemical characterisation and the design and optimisation of shaping processes or devices.
You are comfortable leading research projects from experimental design to dissemination through scientific publications or conference presentations. You are also willing to engage in the supervision of young researchers and to actively contribute to team dynamics.
Why join us?
By joining IRAMIS, you will become part of a dynamic and innovative research environment where you will have the opportunity to learn, grow and play a key role within a recognised centre of excellence.
