Development And Validation Of a Multibody Model For The Dynamic Analysis Of Turbomachinery H/F Safran

Within the Propulsion Systems Engineering Directorate, the R&T (Research & Technology) team of the Assembly Mechanics Department is notably responsible for developing mechanical sizing methods used to simulate the vibratory behavior of engines, both during development and in service with airline operators.

As part of the dynamic behavior studies of turbomachinery conducted at Safran Aircraft Engines, the objective of this internship is to develop, validate, and utilize a multibody model to analyze specific technologies.

More specifically, the work will initially consist of building a multibody model derived from a finite element model, relying on model reduction techniques. The resulting model will then be validated through comparison with results obtained from the reference finite element model. Once validated, parametric studies will be carried out to assess the influence of various parameters on the dynamic behavior of the system. Finally, one aspect of the internship may involve integrating artificial intelligence methods to streamline certain steps of the process and improve overall efficiency.
