Main used techniques will be:
- Microinjections of mRNA (gain of function + fluorescent labelling) or Morpholinos (loss of function).
- Live imaging (confocal and two-photon) to track cell movements and quantify cell behaviour (protrusion dynamics).
- Cell transplants to create mosaic embryos
- Laser ablations to investigate the role of local and long-range cell-cell interactions.
All the techniques are currently implemented in the lab.
