Ingénieur Projet Fabrication H/F ABYSS ENERGY

We are currently looking for a Project Fabrication Management Engineer to support the performance of services described in this specification.

Technical Skills and Experience

- Engineering degree or equivalent technical background
- Proven experience in steel structures and piping fabrication
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Experience tracking material availability, MTO (Material Take-Off), and material substitutions
- Basic knowledge of welding processes, including:

- WPS (Welding Procedure Specification)
- PQR (Procedure Qualification Record)
- Welder qualifications
- NDT methods
- Familiarity with fabrication sequences and constructability constraints
- Knowledge of structural steel codes (e.g., AWS D1.1 or equivalent)
- Knowledge of piping codes (e.g., ASME B31.3, DNV-RP-B204)
- Understanding of subsea structures, including PLETs, PLEMs, and associated subsea equipment
- Ability to review and respond to Site Technical Queries (STQs) raised by fabrication yards
- Capability to assess fabrication issues, evaluate schedule impact, and propose recovery plans
- Experience with NCR management, Management of Change (MOC) processes, and risk assessment
- Knowledge of the Oil & Gas industry

Key Responsibilities

The Project Fabrication Management Engineer will support fabrication activities related to subsea structures such as PLETs, PLEMs, and associated equipment.
The role requires hands-on technical involvement in fabrication activities, including:

- Monitoring and supporting fabrication activities at the yard
- Reviewing and coordinating technical documentation
- Participating in fabrication planning and progress monitoring
- Preparing and maintaining technical reports
- Following up on technical queries, fabrication issues, and corrective actions
- Coordinating with Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) teams and fabrication yards
- Supporting the resolution of day-to-day fabrication technical matters

The successful candidate will report directly to the Fabrication Project Manager and will interface regularly with project engineering teams and fabrication yards.
