This job reports directly to the CFO Group. The Europe Core Finance Director is responsible for leading and overseeing the back-office Finance activities across the Europe & CIS perimeter. This includes the supervision of the European Shared Service Center (SSC) as well as the coreoperations related to the legal entities based in Europe/CIS. In total, this represents a team to manage of approx. 30 people located in different countries.

This role ensures a strong financial process governance. High-quality service delivery will be expected from your key stakeholders which are Finance teams in Headquarter, in Strategic Business Units and in Sales & Marketing.

Responsibilities

Statutory Finance Leadership:

- Lead and oversee finance core operations across all legal entities in Europe and CIS and manage audits, treasury operations and transfer pricing policies in line with Group requirements.

- Optimize cash management and support strategic transformation initiatives led by the Center of Excellence.

Supervision of the full European Scope

- Manage and lead the Europe & CIS core finance team as one team & develop a 3-year roadmap, optimizing talent allocation

Strengthening Internal Controls

- Strengthen Internal Control and segregation of duties, support the effective rollout of C-SOX and ensure integrity of financial flow and mitigate the risk of fraud

Data Quality Enhancement

- Ensure the reliability and integrity of data in all their dimensions, from accounting data (general ledger, vendor accounts) to analytical data (products, clients ...).
- Define and monitor KPIs to factually measure and demonstrate Finance shared service center and core finance performance, drive continuous improvement initiatives and set excellence benchmarks.
- Ensure the creation and quality of vendor master data across the European scope. Assess opportunities to expand activities, prepare business cases, align the organization, and ensure effective execution.

Qualifications

- Minimum of 15 years' experience in statutory Finance, with a strong track record in team management and overseeing complex scopes.
- Previous experience as a Shared service Finance Director within an international and multicultural environment.
- Strong expertise in SAP and in-depth understanding of integrated finance processes.
- Fluent in English; Spanish is a strong plus.
- Results-driven, with strong execution skills and the ability to deliver in demanding, fast-changing environments.
- Proven experience in organizational structuring and implementation of harmonized processes at regional or Group level.
- Recognized for your leadership, adaptability, and analytical mindset.
- Able to recognize and understand cultural differences, and to adapt your communication and approach to diverse stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal skills, showing respect, open-mindedness, and the ability to foster collaboration and trust.
- Able to travel 20% of the time.
