Temporary Contract Financial Controller - Asset Manager Assistant - Cma Terminals H/F CMA CGM

YOUR ROLE :

You will have a strong background in finance and management accounts, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to effectively communicate financial information to the Top Management. The Asset Manager Assistant will be joining a team of 6 people, including 5 Asset Managers and the Managing Director of CMAT, and will report directly to the MD. The team is responsible for supervising and following up on the financial and operational performance of a portfolio of more than 40 Terminals worldwide.
Your position within the Asset team will be multi-purpose and based on the following missions:

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

- Assist the Asset Managers in building Business Plan for expansion projects of the operating terminals (IRR, valuation)
- Perform financial analysis in order to support certain decision-making processes and financial control (cash flow projection, breakeven calculation...)
- Lead projects and elaborate financial models for business development and/ or entrance of new partner regarding your scope of assets: analyse project market, define and budget required due diligences, review assumptions, pilot expert team efforts (technical, legal, financial, insurance, etc.), coordinate Port Authority/Partners requests, assist in leading negotiations
- Participate on cross-cutting topics in coordination with numerous internal departments within CMA CGM as follows: accounting, legal, cash, procurement, tax department, cost savings
- Contribute to the improvement of tools and processes for performance monitoring
- Take part of internal legal restructuring

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

- Postgraduate degree (+5 years) in Business or Engineering with significant financial skills
- 3 years' experience in Audit or in Transaction Services with a strong accounting component or in a financial department (controlling) in a company
- You are familiar with French GAAP as well as IFRS
- You speak English
- You have a very good command of Excel, Power Query, Ability to effectively manipulate and analyze large data sets.
