Détail du poste
Spendesk is on a mission to transform how finance teams work by creating intuitive solutions that make spending decisions faster and smarter. We're looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our product design team-someone who can operate across domains, thrive in complexity, and elevate product quality regardless of the squad they join.
About the role
As a Senior Product Designer at Spendesk, you will:
- Join a close-knit design team of eight, where collaboration, culture, and in-office moments are celebrated.
- Take end-to-end ownership of complex, high-impact product initiatives-from discovery and strategy through delivery, experimentation, and continuous iteration.
- Partner closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and other cross-functional stakeholders to shape product direction, make trade-offs, and drive outcomes.
- Design intuitive experiences across a wide range of problem spaces, including workflows, data-heavy interfaces, and automation-powered features.
- Act as a senior voice for design quality, helping raise the bar across squads through craft, systems thinking, and collaboration.
What you'll be doing
- Lead design for complex product areas. Own the vision, user journeys, interaction models, high-fidelity designs, and prototypes for key initiatives.
- Drive strategic discovery & research. Plan and conduct qualitative and quantitative research, synthesize insights, and translate them into clear product direction and design hypotheses.
- Solve complex workflows. Turn intricate financial, operational, or data-driven processes into clear, usable, and delightful experiences.
- Contribute to and evolve the design system. Create scalable components and patterns, ensuring consistency, accessibility, and long-term maintainability.
- Facilitate strong collaboration. Lead workshops, design reviews, and alignment moments with PMs, Engineers, Data, and other stakeholders.
- Measure and iterate. Define UX success metrics, analyze outcomes with Product and Data, and continuously improve designs post-launch.
- Champion design quality. Set high standards for craft, usability, and clarity, especially in ambiguous or technically complex contexts.
- Stay curious. Keep an eye on emerging design, product, and technology trends-and translate relevant insights into product opportunities.
What we're looking for
- 5-8 years of product/UX design experience, ideally in B2B SaaS, with proven ownership of end-to-end delivery for complex features.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating strategic thinking, excellent interaction and visual design, and tangible business or user impact.
- Mastery of Figma and modern prototyping tools, with the ability to clearly communicate flows, edge cases, and dynamic states.
- Deep fluency in design systems, accessibility standards, and responsive web/mobile patterns.
- Strong research skills-you know how to frame problems, gather evidence, synthesize insights, and advocate for user-centred decisions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills-you can articulate design rationale, influence decisions, and bring others along (English, written & verbal).
- A collaborative, low-ego mindset, comfortable giving and receiving feedback and working across multiple disciplines.
- Comfort with ambiguity and a systems-thinking approach to solving complex product problems.
Nice to have
- Experience designing data-heavy, automation-powered, or AI-assisted experiences.
- Familiarity with fintech, payments, or finance workflows.
- A strong sensitivity to interaction details and emotional design that elevates user delight.
- Hands-on use of AI tools in your design workflow (e.g. Figma AI, ChatGPT, Cursor, Notion AI, etc.)
As we are an international team, please submit your application and CV in English.
