Main Missions:

Involved in Development & Life Cycle Management (LCM) projects, the Global Project Manager is responsible for the operational management of the projects. He/she ensures the achievement of therapeutic project objectives (time, budget, quality) relying on standardized tools and processes, and best practices.

The Global Project Manager works closely with the Project Leader / Asset Leader to successfully complete the project. If the Project Leader / Asset Leader is responsible for defining the project strategy and guarantees the medical, societal and economic values of the project, the Global Project Manager oversees the tactical duties related to a project, coordinating the work of the Core Team members (from R&D and beyond) in order that the objectives of the project are reached.

Main responsibilities

Connect daily tasks to the Strategy and provide context to Core Team Members/ Global Team Members and other stakeholders

Work with the Core Team / Global Team Members to translate the strategy into an actionable Global Plan optimized for timelines, budget (external costs and FTE), quality and value creation, identifying interdependencies and optimizing the critical path

The Global Project Manager drives the execution of the Global Plan at Core Team / Global Team level according to agreed timelines, budget (external costs and FTE) and quality, by regularly monitoring the progress of the work package execution by Core Team / Global Team Members.

Consolidate at project-level the budget estimations performed by Core Team / Global Team members at a work package level. He/she monitors the project budget on a regular basis and alerts the Core Team / Global Team, and particularly the Project Leader / Asset Leader of deviations

Chair Core Team / Global team meetings and manage preparation for governance meetings

Encourage and contribute to effective Core Team / Global Team dynamics, project-centric behaviors and cross-functional collaboration, identify exceptional input and participate in feedback

Required qualifications and experience

Training

Master's degree in science / medical sector

Skills / Expertise

Very good knowledge of Pharma R&D and successful experience in project management

Fluent English

Soft Skills

Leadership, transversal management ability and good communicator

Good analytical and problem-solving skills combined with synthesis mind

Rigor and sense of organization

Pragmatism and ability to challenge

Autonomy

Experience

Minimum 5 years of experience in Project Management
