Engineering Pmo Lead - Btb Satellite Industry H/F Altaide

Our Engineering PMO Lead Mission :

As a PMO Lead, your role will be to drive delivery and governance standards within the Group Engineering & Technology function, fostering a culture of oversight and reporting to enhance visibility and accountability across all initiatives.

Reporting to the Group CTO, you will play a key role in embedding standards, processes, and reporting mechanisms across all initiatives, enabling successful delivery and championing continuous improvement. You will provide function-level oversight and reporting, collaborating with the Leadership Team to analyse performance and recommend coursecorrecting actions when needed. By coaching and guiding delivery owners, you will support them in utilising and tailoring standards, guidelines, and processes to best serve their teams and achieve positive outcomes. Your efforts will contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the Engineering function, ultimately driving the organisation's success.

Main Activities

The Engineering PMO Lead's main activities will be to:

- Own the day-to-day delivery of PMO services, providing guidance and support to delivery owners.
- Provide the Engineering Leadership team with insight and reporting, analysis and recommendations.
- Embed delivery standards, guidelines and processes
- Define and report on agreed KPIs to measure delivery performance.
- Monitor and report on delivery progress, focusing on alignment with timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Facilitate communication between delivery teams, senior management, and other stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the PMO and across delivery teams.
- Provide training and support to delivery owners and team members on PMO processes and tools.
- Conduct assurance reviews of initiatives to identify good practices that can be re-used and areas for improvement.

Profile Education / Qualification

- Project Management Certification (PMP or equivalent) preferred
- Proven experience (5+ years) in leading a PMO in a complex organisation.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (waterfall and Agile) and tools.
- Experience in change management.
- Excellent analytical skills, with ability to transfer data into insight.
- Deep understanding of governance and oversight, with the knowledge to tailor standards to different delivery approaches.
- Ability to think both strategically and tactically
- Fluent English with good writing and presentation skills
