My English Sister is an English language learning and childcare agency based in Lyon. Our mission is to support the English language development of French children through fun and personalised tuition and childcare.
Each year, we recruit a team of 20+ English brothers and sisters to work with French families in and around the city.
The Job Opportunity
- 2 to 16 hours per week (you choose what fits your schedule!)
- Sessions on weekday afternoons (16h30-18h30) and/or Wednesdays
- Work with children aged 3 to 12
- A mix of playful childcare + fun English activities
- Training, support and teaching materials provided - no need to be a teacher already!
This is not just babysitting, it's helping children learn English naturally through games, stories, play and everyday moments.
What we are looking for:
- Fluent English speakers (native or C2 level)
- Aged 18+
- With knowledge of French (A2, B1)
- Minimum 6 months childcare experience
- Passionate about education and young learners
- Teaching experience is a plus (but not essential)
What you are looking for:
- Part-time work (French CDI contract)
- Fair pay (12 euros net per hour, increasing to 13 euros after 12 weeks of employment)
