Ingénieur Planning Senior H/F ABYSS ENERGY

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Planning Engineer with a minimum of 10 years of experience to lead and manage the planning activities of EP/EPC projects for gas treatment units. Typical projects last approximately 3 years and range from €50M to €500M in value.
The Senior Planning Engineer will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and controlling project schedules, ensuring visibility of deadlines, and supporting project execution strategies.
Mission
Project Planning & Scheduling
Develop the baseline project schedule and progress measurement system in alignment with Group WBS standards.
Integrate all activities, including client and external stakeholder deliverables.
Coordinate with engineering disciplines to validate activity durations, sequencing, dependencies, and weightings.
Perform critical path analysis and collaborate with the Project Manager to identify and mitigate scheduling risks.
Support the structuring of all project phases, from initiation to completion.
Schedule Control & Reporting
Update the project schedule and progress measurement sheets monthly based on actual progress and forecasts.
Analyze progress gaps, identify late tasks, and prepare weekly look-ahead plans.
Propose corrective actions to improve or recover schedule performance.
Provide transparent, regular reporting on schedule status, milestones, risks, and progress.
Coordination & Support
Work closely with Project Engineers, discipline leads, and the Project Manager.
Participate in project reviews and cross-disciplinary coordination meetings.
Support strategic decision-making related to project execution and planning.
Profile
Technical Skills
Minimum 10 years of experience in large industrial EPC projects.
Strong command of Primavera P6 (mandatory).
Solid understanding of engineering workflows and documentation (P&IDs, 3D model inputs, E&I engineering cycles).
Previous experience in the Chemical, Oil & Gas, or Energy industries.
Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
Knowledge of Google Sheets is an asset.
