Ingénieur Inspection Junior H/F ABYSS ENERGY

We are looking for a Junior Inspection Engineer to support baseline inspection, RBI activities, and integrity data management within a major Oil & Gas project. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of working independently within a multidisciplinary environment.

Missions:

Baseline Inspection Preparation & Execution

- Prepare Work Scope Executions (WSEs) for equipment, piping, and structures.
- Define inspection techniques, acceptance criteria, data formats, and photo documentation requirements.
- Mark up ISOs, GA drawings, and 3D model extracts with Corrosion Monitoring Locations (CMLs).
- Extract and manage project design documents (P&IDs, drawings, 3D models).

Data & Document Management

- Maintain WSE revision control and ensure proper linkage to the Baseline Register and IDMS.
- Track inspection progress and maintain dashboards (progress, anomalies, pending uploads).
- Review inspection reports for completeness and ensure proper archiving.

On-Site Coordination

- Coordinate with construction and inspection teams for access, permits, insulation removal, and scaffolding.
- Organize baseline inspection results for further analysis.

RBI (Risk-Based Inspection) Support

- Assist in defining corrosion loops and grouping equipment by degradation mechanisms.
- Prepare and verify process, material, and operating data.
- Participate in RBI workshops and support PoF/CoF data validation.
- Update P&IDs and upload all RBI outputs into CMMS/IDMS.

IDMS Administration

- Act as daily focal point for the Integrity Data Management System (IDMS).
- Upload reports, UT data, anomalies, and photos.
- Generate system reports for audits and handover.

Cross-Discipline Coordination & QA

- Liaise with QA/QC and other disciplines (Subsea, Structural, Mechanical).
- Support deviation requests, anomaly close-out, and lessons-learned activities.
- Ensure photo and video evidence meets project QA requirements.

Profile

- Engineering background (mechanical, materials, inspection, or related field).
- Experience in Oil & Gas inspection, integrity, or engineering support.
- Strong skills in Excel and data organization.
- Experience with CMMS (SAP, Maximo).
- Experience with IDMS (Antea, Visions, IMS, or similar) and SP3D/Navisworks is a plus.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Ability to work autonomously and interface effectively with multiple disciplines.
