THE OPPORTUNITY
In this role, you will lead the strategic transformation of the Combustibles (CC) portfolio by rebuilding advanced analytics, establishing forwardlooking market intelligence, and shaping future portfolio strategy. You will operate at the intersection of strategy, data, finance, and commercial execution-driving decisions that directly influence France's portfolio performance and longterm competitiveness.

You will enhance and bring structure to an underdeveloped insights landscape, map the market with future projection of trends, define strategic actions to address the opportunities with strategic portfolio initiatives and pricing direction, will execute hands-on project management. Beyond defining strategy, you will track the performance and competitive intelligence, redesign Power BI data models to enable efficiency, and guide crossfunctional teams (Commercial, Finance, S&PD, Data/BI) toward strategic, scenariodriven analysis, forecasting, business case structuring, and PBOaligned project governance.

This role is senior, visible, and businesscritical. It requires highly consumer and data centric mindset and experience. Thus, a toptier strategic mind with strong analytical depth, financial and commercial acumen, and a proven ability to deliver independently-while also demonstrating the potential to grow into future leadership roles is expected.

Responsibilities of the role:

- Drive category analysis in a consumer and data centric manner to identify insights and opportunities
- Responsible for CC Market Mapping & Future Projection of Segments/Brands to formulate comprehensive long-term and short-term strategies for the CC portfolio
- Segments market and the consumer generating insights from data, available researches and initiates ad-hoc studies where relevant
- Utilize insights and market dynamics to develop models and analyses, fostering alignment across all stakeholders in building portfolio and brand strategies.
- Deliver strategic portfolio management related (portfolio health checks, SKU optimization, banding strategy etc.) analysis and business proposals independently-hands-on analysis and execution required.
- Conduct pricing analysis, scenario building and recommendations, in collaboration with Finance to optimize commercial performance
- Define, track, and act upon relevant KPIs and collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders (commercial, finance, data, deployment) to ensure alignment and delivery.
- Lead Finance, Data, and Commercial stakeholders toward strategic, non-traditional analysis and decision frameworks.
- Ensure project management rigor (retro planning, bottleneck tracking, PBO governance) across all portfolio initiatives.
- Support team expansion and act as potential successor for future leadership roles within Portfolio & Strategy CC.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

- Bachelor or Master degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Marketing, Data/Analytics, or related field.
- Min. 10 years proven experience in Portfolio/Category Strategy, Commercial Strategy, Business Planning, Strategic/Commercial Finance, FMCG or other regulated, data-intensive industries.
- Demonstrated track record of transforming analytics into strategic decisions.
- Evidence of hands-on delivery (not only leadership or oversight).
- Advanced analytical capability and ability to work with large, complex datasets.
- Proficiency in Power BI, data modeling, dashboard restructuring and BI enablement.
- Strong financial acumen (pricing logic, forecasting, scenario modeling, business cases).
- Experience working with senior cross-functional stakeholders (Commercial, Finance, Data/BI).
- Excellent communication skills with ability to simplify complex insights into clear recommendations.
- High ownership, curiosity, agility, and ability to operate autonomously.
- Fluent in English
