What you'll be doing :

- Leading your team members by accompanying and supporting them in their professional store projects and personal development.
- Performing monthly individual meetings (IDM) with members of their team.
- Welcoming customers and informing them about our products and services, suggesting related items that add value and meet each customer's needs.
- Overseeing the smooth operation of your department by ensuring consistency with the store's strategy.
- Working with teammates to meet established objectives.
- Seizing opportunities to promote the success of your department and entire store, including department sales and market analysis.
- Receiving and stocking merchandise efficiently to make products available to our customers as quickly as possible.
- Developing partnerships that expand the sporting community.
- Contributing to the company's on-going improvement.

Profile:

- Marked interest in and enthusiasm for retail, customer service and sports.
- Experienced manager with an inclusive and participatory team approach.
- Interpersonal skills: actively listens to their team in order to mobilize, develop, and motivate them around common objectives.
- Thrives on challenges, enjoys making decisions independently, and is open-minded.
- Ability to recruit team members and offer coaching and mentorship.
- Ability to inspire others to join the Decathlon community by promoting quality sports equipment at fair prices and offering expert advice, strong product knowledge, and exceptional service
