    We are seeking an experienced and reliable Driver Trainer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring safe, efficient and professional operation of the company fleet by training, assessing, and mentoring drivers in accordance with the company policies, road safety regulations, and industry best practices
                    Responsibilities   
  
Driver Training and Induction  
  
-Conduct on-road assessment tests for applicants and make recommendations to the recruiting team.   
-Conduct onboarding and induction training for new truck drivers.  
-Deliver theoretical and practical training on defensive driving, fuel efficient driving, and vehicle handling.   
-Train drivers on the use of telematics, GPS systems, and other in-cab technologies   
Driver Assessments and Evaluation  
-Perform regular driver assessments to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.   
-Identify skill gaps and recommend refresher training or corrective actions.   
-Maintain detailed records and driver performance and training history.   
Operational Support   
-Accompany drivers on routes to observe driving behavior and provide on-the-job coaching   
-Support route planning and advise on best practices for load handling and delivery efficiency.   
-Ensure drivers understand and comply with company policies, traffic laws, and health and safety regulations.   
  
Reporting and Compliance  
-Prepare training reports and submit recommendations to management.   
-Assist in accident investigations and provide retraining where necessary.   
-Ensure all training material and practices are up to date with legal and industry standards.   
-Validate all driver and truck change/upgrade forms raised by operations.   
  
Requirements   
-Minimum of 5 years truck driving experience, with experience in operating Mercedes Benz Trucks (Powerliner, Axor, and Actros), Man Diesel and Scania.  
-Minimum of at least 2 years in a training or supervisory role.   
-Valid heavy duty truck driving license (CE, PSV GD).   
-Must be a Zambian citizen with a Green National Registration Card.  
-Certification in driver training or road safety.   
-Strong knowledge of transport regulations, road safety, and vehicle maintenance.

-Curriculum vitae with 3 traceable referees  
-Copy of NRC  
-Copy of valid drivers license  
-Driver Trainer certification.   
-Any other supporting documents.
