Internship - Corporate Finance H/F CMA CGM

YOUR ROLE

Within the Group's Finance Department, you will join the Financing Department, which is responsible for setting up, structuring and negotiating all of the Group's financing: asset financing (ships, aircraft, containers), structured/project financing, corporate financing (RCF, acquisitions, etc.), and market financing (NEU CP).

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ?

You will be an integral part of the Financing team (5 people), whom you will assist on a daily basis through various tasks:

- Analysis and assistance in structuring financing operations: financial modelling, profitability calculations, drafting internal memos and presentation of offers;
- Participation in the preparation of financial communication materials for governance and/or external partners (banking reports, presentation of results);
- Monitoring the proper execution of financing contracts (management of drawdowns in connection with deliveries of financed assets, financial impacts);
- Monitoring the existing financing portfolio in conjunction with the Middle Office teams;
- Competitive intelligence (banking market, new financing structures, comparative analyses);
- Participating in cross-functional projects (acquisition integration processes, cross-functional Front/Middle Office analyses).

You will be required to work closely with numerous financial partners (banks, funds and export credit agencies) as well as the Group's internal departments (Legal, Tax, Treasury & Cash Management, Accounting and Management Control) and the Financial Directors of the subsidiaries.

The position is based in Marseille.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR ?

- As a student at a leading business or engineering school or enrolled in a university master's programme with a focus on corporate finance, you are looking for an end-of-study internship or a gap year.
- Ideally, you have completed an initial internship at a leading bank or audit firm (Big 4) and have a good knowledge of finance (including modelling, financial statement analysis, valuation and financial analysis methods).
- Fluency in French and English (spoken and written) is essential.
- You are naturally curious, determined and rigorous, with strong analytical and summarising skills.
- You also have good interpersonal skills and are a team player.
- The internship will last six months, ideally starting in January 2026.
