Clinical Research Screening Technician H/F Biotrial

Screening duties:

- Implement volunteers' screening process, including creating entries and updating the screening database.
- Perform study procedures (e.g., participate in screening procedures, venipunctures, obtain biological specimen samples, obtain ECG recordings, vital signs, safety assessments, etc., and pharmaco-dynamic measures - psychometric tests, etc.), process blood samples as required by study protocol under the supervision of the Principal Investigator.
- Draw and treat blood samples (centrifugation, pipetting and storing in freezers).
- Prepare sampling tubes (labeling, storing, etc.).
- Record study data in source documents, as required.
- Ensure proper use and control of clinical unit's equipment.
- Maintain the medical supplies storage unit to ensure adequate supplies are available for conducting studies and appropriately disposing of expired or damaged supplies as required.
- Responsible for appropriate preparation and shipment of pharmacokinetic and pharmaco-dynamic tubes to the sponsor at the close of the study.
- Recommend more efficient working methods; participate in the development and implementation of new processes and operating procedures.
- Assist in the training of clinical technicians and other staff as required.
- Maintain good communications and keep the Clinical Research Team fully informed.
- Develop a high level of familiarity and knowledge of the study protocol and flow chart of study procedures.
- Implement study procedures in compliance with accepted research guidelines including Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) regulations and the study protocol.
- Work to ensure that studies are delivered according to Sponsor requirements on time and to high quality.
- Ensure that work remains in compliance with regulatory guidelines, safety requirements, quality control standards and the Company's Standard Operating Procedures.
- Work collaboratively with co-workers.

Recruitment duties will be assigned when screening duties are achieved

- Conduct the different steps for the Healthy Volunteers and Patients recruitment:
- Conduct cold calling and answer incoming calls for the recruitment database.
- Recruitment database data entry and update.
- Contact and pre-screen potential subjects to determine eligibility for clinical trial participation, using protocol inclusion/exclusion criteria.
- Conduct various recruitment tasks to ensure the completion of the study recruitment.
