As a key member of the Operations management team of SBU (Strategical Business Unit) Specialties, you lead the direct supply chain activities of the Specialties SBU (Euro 500 million sales and with a strong growth agenda) and contribute to wider Operations strategy, policy and decision making. You propose and implement the Supply Chain strategy for the SBU, aligned with the global supply chain roadmap, for sustainable growth.

Responsibilities

As such, your main responsibilities are:

- Strategic Planning:Develop 5-year plans and budgets in line with SBU strategy, integrating operational needs. Represent the SBU in strategic projects and ensure the application of the Adisseo core model.

- Policy Development:Define and implement supply chain policies tailored to the Specialties business, considering global policies, regional and customer expectations, and production layouts.

- Performance Optimization:Set and achieve performance objectives, provide monthly executive outputs, and ensure the efficiency of the SIOP process. Continuously improve supply chain performance in coordination with the global supply chain.

- Innovation and Digitization:Lead the digitization of processes through global supply chain projects and SBU-level initiatives. Your contributions will drive efficiency and innovation within the supply chain.

- Team Management:Lead and animate the SC community of the SBU (direct reports and at factories level in dotted line), with a specific focus on the change management linked to global Supply Chain transformation (processes, people, organization). You drives the SBU supply chain agenda across functions and reporting lines and oversee its activities.

- Global Integration:Actively participate in global supply chain projects, ensuring the SBU's strategies are aligned with the global supply chain community. Your role is crucial in integrating new acquisitions and ensuring compliance with international trade and regulatory rules.

Qualifications

- Graduated from a master's degree in supply chain with a minimum of 10 years of experience as a supply chain leader and manager preferably in specialized chemicals, pharmaceuticals, biotech or similarly highly complex and regulated industries.
- Fluency in English is essential, proficiency in French would be a plus
- Strong understanding of business issues with skills in managing change effectively.
- Be a cross-functional leader and inspirer, manager and coach. Leadership capabilities with customer centricity approach and ability to make informed decisions under uncertainty and complexity.
