Senior Technical Safety Engineer H/F ABYSS ENERGY

We are currently seeking a Senior Technical Safety Engineer to carry out the services.
PROFILE:
The candidate must be a qualified senior engineer with a background in engineering consultancy (design office), possessing the following competencies:
Degree in Process Engineering, Safety Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
Minimum 8-10 years of experience in the oil & gas industry, with at least 5 years in technical/process safety for offshore facilities (FPSO preferred).
Strong understanding of Safety & Environmental Critical Elements (SECEs) and development of Performance Standards.
Proven experience in EPC project phases, ideally with Engineering Contractors.
Ability to work independently while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
Good communication skills for effective coordination with O&M teams, project stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
Fluent in English (spoken and written); Portuguese or French is a plus depending on project location.
MISSIONS:
The service shall be performed independently, under the supervision of the designated Project Manager, and in close collaboration with other engineering disciplines.
The key services to be provided include (non-exhaustive):
Develop the Performance Standards for the KAMINHO FPSO during the Design Phase, in alignment with the Safety and Environmental Critical Elements (SECE) List.
Interface with the Operations & Maintenance (O&M) teams (both CONTRACTOR and COMPANY) to ensure technical consistency of the Performance Standards with operational requirements and the Maintenance Management System to be implemented.
Provide support to the Technical Safety Team on all matters related to FPSO safety and integrity.
SKILLS:
To perform the services described above, the SUBCONTRACTOR shall propose a candidate with the following experience and qualifications in the Oil & Gas sector:
Full autonomy in the development of SECE Lists and corresponding Performance Standards for FPSOs during the EPC Phase, in line with project planning and budget constraints.
Proven ability to provide technical guidance on technical safety scopes.
Solid knowledge of applicable rules and regulations for floating facilities, particularly those issued by IMO and other international bodies.
Demonstrated experience delivering similar scopes of work at the EPC stage, preferably on the Engineering Contractor side.
